The 31 Classes

Also called by the players as jobs, the 31 classes from the Lineage 2 Interlude are qualifications from the races into professions, when your character level up from level 1, you will need to get 3 jobs further, and these jobs are separated between fighters and mages. The first job you get on level 20, second in level 40, and the third one in the level 76, and they are extremely necessary to get higher level skills.

In some servers you may need to do quests, and each job has their own quest, so I recommend you to search for it in PmFun website, since they are too many, but lately almost all servers have an NPC where you can get the jobs without doing the quests. Down here you will see all the classes separeted by their 3rd job, in alphabetical order, and after each explanation about them, there will be the path you must follow to become that especific class.

Adventurer

Lineage 2 Adventurer

The adventurers are a dagger class, maybe the most annoying to play against, because they have a buff called Mirage that lasts 1 minute, which gives them the ability to take your target away very often, and despite this, they also have active skills to take off your target and cancel your skills.

They also have Dash, that greatly increases their speed for 15 seconds, and are the dagger class with the bigger HP/CP. They play with knifes, and usually light clothing sets, but sometimes they may use a heavy armor for bigger P. Def. and HP.

In the olympiad, their MP usually ends very fast, because the cost to use their damage skills is too high, but their damage might be very hard to hold, especially if they hit you on your back, so never turn your back to a dagger, NEVER.

Class path: Human Fighter > Rogue > Treasure Hunter > Adventurer.

Arcana Lord

Arcana Lords are the wizards that dominated the summoning of cats, and became their best friends, fighting by their side. Their magic towards their pets is so strong that their summon absorbs 50% of the damage taken by their master.

Besides the cats, they have summon cubic servitors that can give extra damage or even paralyze their target for a short time. They got some cancelling skills too, like Warrior and Mage Bane, which removes Wind Walk, Haste, Acumen and Empower buff effects.

Their main clothing set are the robe ones, and they use magical weapons, but they don't have magical skills for damage unless they've got augmentation skills, so they are 100% dependent from their pet to win the opponent.

Class path: Human Mystic > Human Wizard > Warlock > Arcana Lord.

Lineage 2 Arcana Lord

Archmage

Lineage 2 Archmage

An Archmage is the human wizard that has dominated the fire magic, and they are very usefull in the massive PvP because their stronger abilities affects multiple enemies, but these skills have a short range, which is a big trouble when they're at 1vs1 PvP like in the olympiad.

Despite having the fire as their main element, they have a few curse abilities to help them, such as Slow, which decreases their opponent's speed, Curse of Fear that makes the opponent to get afraid and flee, Cancellation, a skill that can remove some buff effects and a few more.

They can also summon some cats, but these are not very strong and helpfull, except by Kat the Cat, which gives them some extra MP in the olympiad. They wear robe clothing sets and magical weapons, usually with a shield too.

Class path: Human Mystic > Human Wizard > Sorcerer > Archmage.

Cardinal

Cardinals are the most powerfull healer class, in terms of healing power, but their big problem is the MP consumption, some of their skills have a very high cost, and they need to control their MP very well.

To try to match the other professions, they developed a unique magic skill called Magical Backfire, that consists into increasing the skills MP cost from their opponent within a insane percentage, and like the other healers they can also burn your MP slowly.

If you go against a Cardinal in the olympiad with some class that needs MP for using their main abilities and you catch the Magical Backfire, you probably lost the match. They wear robe clothing sets and magical weapons just like all of the other magicians.

Class path: Human Mystic > Cleric > Bishop > Cardinal.

Lineage 2 Cardinal

Dominator

Lineage 2 Dominator

At least in my opinion, the Dominators are the strongest class of all in the Interlude Chronicle, they are a mix of all classes together, with many buff effects, strong defense, high attack power (physical and magical), and they can even restore their CP and HP.

Not enough, their main ability recovers about 80% of the dealt damage to their own HP, and they can even give you strong curses that decreases all kind of status, like a Seal of Despair or a Seal of Suspension.

With all of this, their only weakness is the very high MP cost for using these magical skills, which's why it's not an easy class to play in the olympiad. They wear all kinds of clothing sets and weapons, depending on the ocasion and their goal.

Class path: Orc Mystic > Shaman > Overlord > Dominator.

Doomcryer

Doomcryers were most focused on being a support class, having a lot of buff effects that applies to their whole group, and they even have the ability to summon his group members to their own location.

Despite of having the same draining HP ability from the Dominators, it's not very effective for them because their magical attack is a lot lower, so in the olympiad they need to focus more in a fighter gameplay.

To compensate their weak magical attack, they've got a strong physical attack and a few bleeding abilities. They can also wear any weapons and clothing sets, but their main weapons are one handed blunts, knives, bows and magical weapons.

Class path: Orc Mystic > Shaman > Warcryer > Doomcryer.

Lineage 2 Doomcryer

Dreadnought

Lineage 2 Dreadnought

The Dreadnoughts are a special class for massive PvP, since they are masters of stunning multiple targets, but that doesn't mean they are weak in 1vs1 PvP, they have a very good critical damage attack with spears.

Despite their strong stunning, they have a lot of CP and HP too, and they can recover this HP with Battle Roar, or even restore it completly with a unique skill called Revival, but they can only use it with 10% of their HP.

Their weakness is the short range of their skills, and a very low speed, but good luck trying to escape them if you're all time getting stunned, so you better try to avoid getting close to them. They usually wear spears to be able to catch multiple opponents and heavy armors for a better physical defense.

Class path: Human Fighter > Warrior > Warlord > Dreadnought.

Duelist

Inspired by the ancient gladiators from Rome, the Duelists are one of the strongest classes from the olympiad, because of their big damage, being close to you or not. Still, their stronger skills are short ranged, and to get close to you they have a skill similar to the Dash.

Despite of having a strong damage, they are a hard class to control, because they have something called charges to fill up till level 7, and almost all skills use these charges, where how much higher they are charged up, the higher is the damage dealt.

They have CP and HP similar to the Dreadnoughts, but their recovery skills and defenses are a little weaker. You can easily recognize one by the dual swords and heavy armors.

Class path: Human Fighter > Warrior > Gladiator > Duelist.

Lineage 2 Duelist

Elemental Master

Lineage 2 Elemental Master

Elemental Masters are the elven wizards that dominated the summoning of unicorns, and became their best friends, fighting by their side. Their magic towards their pets is so strong that their summon absorbs 50% of the damage taken by their master.

Besides the unicorns, they have summon cubic servitors that can passively heal them and give their opponent an ice bleeding. They also have the cancelling skill Warrior Bane, which removes Wind Walk and Haste buff effects.

Their main clothing set are the robe ones, and they use magical weapons, but they don't have magical skills for damage unless they've got augmentation skills, so they are 100% dependent from their pet to win the opponent.

Class path: Elven Mystic > Elven Wizard > Elemental Summoner > Elemental Master.

Eva's Saint

Another strong healer class, the Eva's Saints are very good in the olympiad because they have a lot of good buffs for magicians, especially the Profecy of Water, which makes you believe you are fighting against an Mystic Muse with higher healing skills instead.

Their main strategy is to remove all your MP and kill you after, and despite being very powerful, they don't have magic damage skills of their own, so they are 100% dependent of augmentation damage skills for that, called nukers.

Because of this, it's not cheap to create this character for the olympiad, since they need at least 4 or 5 weapons with nukers to kill the opponent without suffering. They always play with robe clothing sets and magical weapons.

Class path: Elven Mystic > Elven Oracle > Elven Elder > Eva's Saint.

Lineage 2 Eva's Saint

Eva's Templar

Lineage 2 Eva's Templar

This is a tanker class, with strong physical and magical defenses, the Eva's Templars usually win their matchs slowly. Because of the this, their opponents usually waste all of their resources trying to kill them and end up without MP.

It's a matter of patience and strategy playing against them, because they also have strong healing skills, like the Touch of Life and Elemental Heal, but this second heal consumes a lot of MP, so they can't always use it.

They get to summon cubic servitors too, that can give a litte low extra damage, passively heal them, and even hold the opponent for 30 seconds. They wear heavy armors and their main weapons are the one handed swords, to free the other for a shield, but they also have a very good damage with bows.

Class path: Elven Fighter > Elven Knight > Temple Knight > Eva's Templar.

Fortune Seeker

As their own class name refers, the Fortune Seekers are most focused in PvE, since they got a unique ability called Spoil, that allows them to collect extra materials from monsters, that usually are hard to get through normal drop, so they aren't often seem fighting in the olympiad, but it doesn't mean they're weak in there.

They have a lot of CP and HP, like the duelists, and very strong stunning skills, that may be combined with their spear abilities, allowing them to do a very good damage, although it's not an easy class to play in 1vs1 PvP.

They can also use Parry Stance to increase their defenses and Riposte Stance to reflect some damage and negative effect skills, like curses and stuns. They wear heavy armors and normally play with two or one handed hammers, sometimes switching to spears to be able to use more powerful skills.

Class path: Dwarf Fighter > Scavenger > Bounty Hunter > Fortune Seeker.

Lineage 2 Fortune Seeker

Ghost Hunter

Lineage 2 Ghost Hunter

The Ghost Hunters are the dark elf dagger class, and they have the biggest damage between the daggers, especially if Hex works on you, a skill that reduces the opponents P. Def., exclusive from the dark elves fighters. They use knives and wear light clothing sets, sometimes using heavy armors for the same reason as the Adventurers.

The damage skills from all 3 daggers are almost the same, but this one and the Wind Riders doesn't have the Mirage buff, instead the Ghost Hunter has 3 skills to take away your target and a buff called Counterattack, that allows them to reflect some of the damage taken by physical skills for a short time.

In the olympiad, their MP usually ends very fast, because the cost to use their damage skills is too high, but their damage are very hard to hold, especially if they hit you on your back, so never turn your back to a dagger, NEVER.

Class path: Dark Elven Fighter > Assassin > Abyss Walker > Ghost Hunter.

Ghost Sentinel

These are the most powerful archers when we are talking about damage, the Ghost Sentinels developed a skill called Dead Eye, that increases their critical damage power and accuracy, being the reason their damage is so strong, but it decreases their attack speed, so their arrow are a little slow to get to the target.

Anyway, even without Dead Eye, they can hit hard, making each arrow very lethal, and they can also give you Hex to hit even harder. But their constitution is not so good, so they have low CP/HP.

Their weakness is to play close from the target, and this is bad for them in the olympiad because the arena is a closed space. They are always with a bow and light clothing set, but sometimes they may switch to heavy armors for higher physical defense and HP.

Class path: Dark Elven Fighter >Assassin > Phantom Ranger > Ghost Sentinel.

Lineage 2 Ghost Sentinel

Grand Khavatari

Lineage 2 Grand Khavatari

The Grand Khavataris are a very versatile class, which makes them one of the most dangerous and strong class in the olympiad. They developed some unique buff skills called Spirit Totens, which incorporates the spirit of animals in their body to increase some certain abilities.

Their secret in the olympiad is using the right totem at the right time, and they also have Zealot, that increases a lot their speed and attack speed, making this class very powerful in the right hands.

They have physical skills similar to the Duelists (and they also use charges), but they can hit you with only physical attacks too, though the first style is more effective in the olympiad. They play with dual fists weapons and wear light clothing sets or heavy armors, depending on the situation.

Class path: Orc Fighter > Monk > Tyrant > Grand Khavatari.

Hell Knight

Another tanker class, the Hell Knight's are human warriors that have learned a little bit of dark magic, this way they learned to summon a Dark Panther, which has a very strong physical attack, helping them a lot in the fighting.

Besides the panther, they learned the Touch of Death, that removes almost all of your CP and cancel random buffs when it works, and a unique skill called Hamstring, that greatly decreases their opponent's speed, which helps the Dark Panther's work.

They also have a strong stunning using their shield, so most of the times it's their panther who gives the main damage. They usually play with heavy armors and one handed swords to be able to use a shield, but sometimes the bows are also an option when their target gets distance.

Class path: Human Fighter > Human Knight > Dark Avenger > Hell Knight.

Lineage 2 Hell Knight

Hierophant

Lineage 2 Hierophant

These are the strongest healers from the olympiad, the Hierophants have lots of buff effects, that greatly increases their physical and magical abilities, and some even increases their HP and MP, leading them to be very powerful.

Their heal is not so strong, but their physical and magical defenses helps them a lot to keep their life safe. This way, their main strategy is also burning the opponent's MP first, except that they don't need nukers to finish them off, since they can play with a fighter mode too.

Not being enough, they have a unique skill called Mystic Immunity, that makes them immune to any kind of negative effect skills for 30 seconds. They can wear all kinds of clothing sets and use all weapons, but in the fighter mode they usually are better with knives and bows.

Class path: Human Mystic > Cleric > Prophet > Hierophant.

Maestro

Masters of the equipment creation, the Maestros are not so different from the Fortune Seekers in a matter of strength and skills. Their only difference is that instead of developing the Spoil ability, they developed machines to fight by their side, although these machines aren't so strong.

Class path: Dwarf Fighter > Artisan > Warsmith > Maestro.

Lineage 2 Maestro

Moonlight Sentinel

Lineage 2 Moonlight Sentinel

One of the 3 Archer classes, the Moonlight Sentinels doesn't have a strong damage, but they have a very higher attack speed, result of their unique skill called Rapid Fire, so while a Ghost Sentinel shoots an arrow, they shoot two.

In the olympiad, they have more speed and magical defense than the others because of their self buffs, and can use the Entangle skill to let their opponents slower. They also have the Elemental Heal skill to cure themselves if it gets necessary and possible.

Their shooting range is a little bit lower than the other archer classes, but this is not such a big deal for them in the olympiad. They are always with a bow and light clothing set, but sometimes they may switch to heavy armors for higher physical defense and HP.

Class path: Elven Fighter > Scout > Silver Ranger> Moonlight Sentinel.

Mystic Muse

Maybe the strongest elemental magicians, the Mystic Muses doesn't have a high normal damage, but they give a lot of magical criticals, which makes them very dangerous, and they also have the fastest casting speed of all mages.

They are elven wizards who have dominated the water element, mixed with a little bit of the holy element too, and they also have some icy poisonings, Curse of Fear to make their opponent to get afraid and flee, and some strong sleeping skill.

Despite all of this, they also have the Cancellation skill, that can remove a few buffs from the opponent, and the unicorn summon that can give them extra MP in the olympiad. They wear robe clothing sets and magical weapons, usually with a shield too.

Class path: Elven Mystic > Elven Wizard > Spellsinger > Mystic Muse.

Lineage 2 Mystic Muse

Phoenix Knight

Lineage 2 Phoenix Knight

Probably the strongest tanker class of all, the Phoenix Knights have a special skill called Angelic Icon, that boosts their defenses, speed and attack speed while using a blunt or a sword, and it lasts for 1 or 2 minutes, most servers have a different time, so you need to check it.

Because of the Angelic Icon, they can give a big damage at the start of a match and them hold enough damage later to finish their opponents, because they have good healing skills too, but they can't heal themselves while the Angelic Icon lasts, except if using the Touch of Life.

They have a strong stunning using their shield and a very good damage with bows, and can wield one handed swords or blunts. They almost always wear heavy armors and shields.

Class path: Human Fighter > Human Knight > Paladin > Phoenix Knight.

Sagittarius

The Sagittarius are the archers with the most equilibrated status. They have the more constitution and accuracy between the 3 archers, but their physical attack and attack speed are just good enough to hit well.

They have some unique skills as well, like Snipe, that increases a lot their range attack, a little bit of physical attack and accuracy, and the Hawk Eye too, that greatly increases their accuracy, by decreasing a little bit of their physical defense.

To increase their speed and run from their opponents they have Dash, the same skill from the Adventurers. They are always with a bow and light clothing set, but sometimes they may switch to heavy armors for higher physical defense and HP.

Class path: Human Fighter > Rogue > Hawkeye > Sagittarius.

Lineage 2 Sagittarius

Shillien's Saint

Lineage 2 Shillien's Saint

Also a healer class the Shillien's Saints have a stronger magical attack and lower casting speed than the Eva's Saints, which makes it hard for them to hold some classes with a strong damage, like the Duelists, Grand Khavataris and Dominators.

Their MP burning is a lot stronger than the others, considering their magical attack, and because of their slow casting and bad healing powers, they might try to hold you on the ground to be safer.

Just like the Eva's Saints, they don't have magical damage skills of their own, so they are 100% dependent of nukers to finish their opponent after burning their MP. They always play with robe clothing sets and magical weapons.

Class path: Dark Elven Mystic > Shillien's Oracle > Shillien's Elder > Shillien's Saint.

Shillien's Templar

This tanker class has a lot in common with the Hell Knights, since they both learned dark magic, but the Shillien's Templars have a lot more resources, like curses, bleedings, poisons and magical skills, which some can even drain their opponents HP for their own.

They also have the Touch of Death, Hex and Powerbreak, and instead of a panther, they can summon cubic servitors, that passively gives to their target poisons, physical attack, physical defense and attack speed decreases, and a draining hp magic once in a while.

They have a very high physical defense, and always wear heavy armors, wielding a one handed sword with a shield, sometimes switiching for magical weapons and robe clothing sets to do their magic.

Class path: Dark Elven Fighter > Palus Knight > Shillien's Knight > Shillien's Templar.

Lineage 2 Shillien's Templar

Soultaker

Lineage 2 Soultaker

The Soultakers are the human wizards that completly dominated the dark magic, and in general their status are the most equilibrated between the magicians, but they developed lots of curses and dark spells that can neutralize their opponents.

They have the Curse of Gloom to reduce the opponent's magical defense, and may silence the skills from any other class with their Curse of Doom, paralize the opponent with Anchor, make you flee with Curse of Fear, remove buffs with Mass Mage and Warrior Bane, and a lot more.

As if it wasn't enough, they can summon dead corpses from the dead to help, and share 50% of the damage taken with them. They always wear robe clothing sets and magical weapons just like the other magicians.

Class path: Human Mystic > Human Wizard > Necromancer > Soultaker.

Spectral Dancer

Spectral Dancers are the dark elven fighters that created dances to significantly boosts their group members abilities, focusing in the damage abilities. But because they were banned from the elven forests by the white elves, they also developed one that increases the resistance to the water element.

These dances increases their physical and magical attack, magical casting and attack speed, magical and physical critical rate and a lot more, so in the olympiad they might hit very hard on you.

They also have poisoning, bleeding, and magical skills. They wear heavy armors and can only perform their dances with dual swords, and despite of always needing them, they can switch to a bow and hit really hard too.

Class path: Dark Elven Fighter > Palus Knight > Bladedancer > Spectral Dancer.

Lineage 2 Spectral Dancer

Spectral Master

Lineage 2 Spectral Master

The Spectral Masters and the dark elven wizards that dominated the summoning of dark spectral creatures, becoming their best friends and fighting by their side. Their magic towards these creatures is so strong that their summon absorbs 50% of the damage taken by their master.

Besides these creatures, they can summon subic servitors that can passively reduces their target's physical attack, physical defense and attack speed, and even give a paralyze for a short time. They got the cancelling skill Mage Bane, which removes Acumen and Empower buff effects.

Their main clothing set are the robe ones, and they use magical weapons, but they don't have magical skills for damage unless they've got augmentation skills, so they are 100% dependent from their summon to win the opponent.

Class path: Dark Elven Mystic > Dark Wizard > Phantom Summoner > Spectral Master.

Storm Screamer

When they were banned from the elven forests, the dark elves completly ruptured with their old magic too, so the Storm Screamers dominated the wind element and learned dark magic, but their dark magic is weaker than the wind magic.

Despite of studying the dark magic, they didn't reach the point to develop strong curses like the Soultakers, but they still got to learn Silence, that blocks all magical skills from the opponent, and Vampiric Claw, that helps them a lot by draining HP while doing damage.

They don't have very good summons, but they can summon the Silhouette do drain it's HP with Vampiric Claw when it's necessary, and that might help a lot in the olympiad. They always wear robe clothing sets and magical weapons just like the other magicians.

Class path: Dark Elven Mystic > Dark Wizard > Spellhowler > Storm Screamer.

Lineage 2 Storm Screamer

Sword Muse

Lineage 2 Sword Muse

The Sword Muses are elven fighters that learned singing, and their songs greatly increases most the defenses and resistences status of those who hear it, which is why if you fight against them you will need a lot of patience to win, but their stronger defense is against magic.

They have some unique skills called Psycho Symphony, that reduces the opponnent speed and a lot of their casting and attack speed, and the Sword Symphony, that can make your opponent flee from you. They can restore their HP with Elemental Heal, but they don't have too much MP to be able to use it for long.

Their main weapon is the one handed sword, combined with a shield and heavy armors, but since their songs spend a lot of MP, sometimes they need to use robe clothing sets.

Class path: Elven Fighter > Elven Knight > Swordsinger > Sword Muse.

Titan

Titans are the class with the biggest physical attack of all, the strongest of all because of their unique abilities called Rage and Frenzy, that insanily increases their physical attack by more than 3 times when used togheter.

To be even more powerfull, they also have Zealot increasing their speed and attack speed, which makes hard running from them. Their weakness is that Frenzy and Zealot can only be used when their HP is Lower than 30%.

Another unique skill of them is called Guts, that increases their physical defese as if their skin had been gold plated, but it also can only be used with HP on 30%. They can wear light clothes or heavy armors, and wield two handed swords or blunts, switching to a bow once or while.

Class path: Orc Fighter > Raider > Destroyer > Titan.

Lineage 2 Titan

Wind Rider

Lineage 2 Wind Rider

Wind Riders are the elven daggers, and in the olympiad they have a better magic defense than the others, but a lower damage, and they got only 1 skill to take your target away. They use knives and wear light clothing sets, sometimes using heavy armors for more P. Def. and HP.

The damage skills from all 3 daggers are almost the same, but this one and the Ghost Hunters doesn't have the Mirage buff. To compensate that they have a buff called Dodge, that allows them to evade physical damage skills for a short time.

In the olympiad, their MP usually ends very fast, because the cost to use their damage skills is too high, but their damage are very hard to hold, especially if they hit you on your back, so never turn your back to a dagger, NEVER.

Class path: Elven Fighter > Scout > Plainswalker > Wind Rider.
